Preparing Your Roast

This step is one of the most important, and we’re here to guide you through it!

You’re starting with an incredible, expertly cared-for prime rib roast sourced from Châtel Farms in Reidsville, GA—right here in our backyard. At Bask, we take pride in sourcing locally whenever possible, and we want everyone, from beginners to seasoned grill masters, to enjoy this roast as much as we do.

These are helpful guidelines to get you started, but we understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. That’s why we’ve included a "Tips and Tricks" section to help you navigate any unexpected challenges.

Thank you for choosing Bask and our trusted partners to be part of your holiday dinner. We’re honored to be at your table this season!

Preparing Your Roast

  1. Remove the roast from its packaging and pat it dry with your preferred towel.

  2. Generously rub your fat of choice all over the roast—don’t hold back!

  3. Season the roast liberally with Bask Spice.

  4. Allow the roast to come to temperature (Not Cold). This is very important! For a 4-bone rack, this typically takes 30–45 minutes.

  5. Clean up your workspace and get ready to start cooking!
